In Silicon Valley, California in the Spring you can sometimes see tiny white flower petals detached from their blossoms and blowing in the wind, signaling the long awaited beginning of allergy season.
Last week while I was in Las Vegas for a business conference, David looked out the window of our new home and saw a similar display. At first he thought it was flower blossoms but he quickly concluded that it was still too cold for that. It must be ash from someone's wood fire.
But then he put his hand out the front door and some of the white bits landed there. Then they melted.
(Did I mention that David is a California native? By contrast I grew up in Philadelphia.)
I can't imagine a world without snow, hehe. This sounds hilarious! Has Jack seen it yet?

Next winter sure will be fun! (I'm a native Georgian who lived in Rhode Island for college--I couldn't drive four months out of the year because of the snow).

LOL. When I was a grad student in Canada I wondered if there was a chemical fire on campus (no trees, so...). It was snow.
Yeah, I'm from California too.
