It is amazing to witness the progress of language development in Jack from one day to the next. I was driving us in the car about a month ago and listened as he counted from one to 10. He sang the alphabet song up to G. He asked for a "sip" of my drink.
He knows all his colors and can say many shapes like diamond, circle, star. He likes chicken and cookies and milk and asks for all these things. He says "again" about 97 times for the part of the Elmo episode he liked or the book he wants to reread.
He says zoom zoom when it's time to ride in the car and says school and baff (bath). Tonight I told him, "it's time for sleeping" and he repeated the word "sleeping." It blows me away how there are so many more words every day. My little baby is turning into a little boy. He is a toddler, complete with temper tantrums, particularly about getting strapped into the car seat. So many changes in less than two years!
They change so fast, it's like the blink of an eye...sad and happy, wayyy too fast.

That's so impressive. I love how babies grow and change--it's great to see. I wonder if it's confusing, though, for one's limits to be in flux constantly. But I admire their openness to change. :)

It's great, isn't it? I find my kid goes through spurts and plateaus, spurts and plateaus. It's fascinating to watch, and enjoy.
